According to a source, three teams have an opportunity to buy Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez during the summer transfer window, including Arsenal.

According to the Record, Arsenal, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid among the teams vying for the 23-year-old’s signature. After two successful seasons in Rotterdam, Gimenez has made the decision that he is ready to leave Feyenoord at the end of the current campaign in order to transfer to a higher league in Europe.

According to the source, Gimenez is expected to start negotiations with clubs on a potential summer exit, and Feyenoord is thought to be willing to sell him for a reasonable price. The striker believes that a transfer to La Liga would be a good fit for his playing style, thus he is leaning towards it. Atleti has a strong possibility of signing him because Real Madrid and Barcelona, who have also expressed interest in him, believe he is not ready for such a transfer and cannot afford to sign him.

The Mexican striker made an impression upon joining Feyenoord in 2022 after leaving Cruz Azul. In 84 appearances in all competitions in the Netherlands, he has scored 47 goals, 24 of which have come this season.

When Feyenoord plays NEC in the final on Sunday, the attacker will look to lead his team to KNVB Beker victory before starting talks with teams like Arsenal and Atletico.
