The Wonder Team and the Pharaoh’s Fortune, Leah Williamson’s second book inspired by the Lionesses, has been released, and the Arsenal star is celebrating.
To date, Gunners defender has co-authored multiple books. She co-wrote the inspirational book “You Have The Power: Find Your Strength and Believe You Can” in 2023 with writer Suzanne Wrack. It is aimed at encouraging young girls. Then, she and her cousin Jordan Glover signed a three-book agreement with Macmillan Children’s Books for ‘The Wonder Team and the Forgotten Footballers’. The second book in this time-traveling series has now been released by the captain of England’s Euro-winning team.
In addition to book launches, center-back Williamson is probably going to play for Jonas Eidevall’s Arsenal team, which is now third in the standings, when they play Everton in the Women’s Super League on Sunday afternoon.
